Slaton Choir Hits a High Note at UIL
The Slaton High School choir made history today and earned their first ever award from the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contest! They sang beautifully and earned a Superior rating of 1,1,1 on their concert performance and an Excellent rating of 1,2,2 for their sight-reading performance. This is a huge accomplishment for our choir! They were one point away from a sweepstakes rating. They are already talking about their improvement from previous years contests, and how they are going to bring home a sweepstakes rating next year!
