Slaton ISD Golf Teams Wrap Up Their Season at District Tournament

The Slaton ISD Tiger and Tigerette golf teams recently concluded their season with strong performances at the District Golf Tournament. The tournament took place on March 24th at Reese Golf Course and March 31st at Meadowbrook Golf Course, showcasing the dedication and skill of our student-athletes.

Tiger Golf Team Results

Leading the Tigers was Ian Gonzales, who posted scores of 119 and 138 over the two rounds. He was closely followed by Bobby Quintero, who recorded a 119 in the first round. Other Tiger golfers included Mason Sheffy (147, 142) and Jayden Bennett (144, 151), all of whom demonstrated perseverance and improvement throughout the competition.

Tigerette Golf Team Results

On the Tigerette side, Scarlett Chancey led the team with impressive scores of 112 and 119. She was followed by Halle Ashley (119, 135), Roslyn Garcia (138, 138), and Kincey Wilson (151, 155), all of whom put forth great effort to cap off the season.

The Slaton ISD golf teams have worked hard throughout the season, and their commitment was evident in their performances at the district tournament. Congratulations to all the golfers for their dedication and sportsmanship!
