Slaton High School’s Electrical Technology Program offers students a comprehensive pathway to gaining valuable hands-on experience in electrical technology. Additionally, the program allows students to accumulate recommended hours towards their electrical license, giving them a head start in their professional journey.
Electrical Technology 1 Course Overview
Electrical Technology 1 is a first-year course that introduces students to the basics of electrical technology and home wiring. It prepares students to perform competently at an apprentice level in electrical work settings and handle home electrical projects safely.
By participating in Slaton High School’s Electrical Technology Program, students can accumulate the recommended hours required for an electrical license. Electrical Technology 2 Course Overview
Electrical Technology 2 is a double-blocked, second-year course that emphasizes hands-on training. Students will work on various electrical projects throughout the campus, applying advanced techniques and project management skills.
