Bright Futures in SHS Electrical Technology!

Coach Barrera’s Electrical Technology students are hard at work gaining hands-on experience that will prepare them for future careers. Electrical Technology 2 students are upgrading the campus by replacing old fluorescent lights with new, energy-efficient LED lighting. Meanwhile, Electrical Technology 1 students are learning the basics of the trade, including building circuits and installing receptacles and light switches.

It’s a great day to be a Tiger in SHS CTE! By providing industry-level skills and real-world learning opportunities, Slaton ISD is equipping students with career pathways that will last a lifetime. We are proud of all the Career and Technology programs offered at SHS and the opportunities they create for our students.
