A big thank you to the Slaton Police Department for giving our students such a warm welcome this morning! Officers Hargrove, Harper, and Ascencio were on hand to assist with car drop-offs and opening doors, and their friendly presence made a great impression on both students and parents.

Our students had the opportunity to connect with members of law enforcement in a positive and approachable way—helping them understand that officers are here to keep us safe and support our community. Parents appreciated the added sense of safety and security, and it's moments like these that strengthen the bond between our schools and the community.

We are grateful for the continued partnership and the example these officers set for our kiddos. Thank you for taking the time to make a difference!
