CTE 4th and 5th grade students laced up their running shoes and proudly represented Slaton ISD at the Lubbock Area Elementary Cross Country Race! This marks the very first time our elementary students have competed in this event, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work and determination.

The students will have the exciting opportunity to participate in several more races this fall, gaining valuable experiences that promote both physical fitness and personal growth.

A big thank you goes out to Coach Eberhard for the leadership and encouragement. We are so thankful to have such dedicated students, teachers, and administrators who make Slaton ISD a wonderful place to learn and grow.

At Slaton ISD, we believe physical fitness is an important part of education. The lessons learned on the course of perseverance and resilience—will last a lifetime.
