Slaton ISD Welding Technology Students Excel at San Antonio Livestock Show's Ag Mechanics Competition

The Slaton Independent School District is beaming with pride as our Welding Technology students achieved remarkable success at the recent San Antonio Livestock Show's Agricultural Mechanics competition. Our talented students secured three first-place ribbons and one second-place ribbon, showcasing their exceptional skills and dedication.​  Bobby Quintero, Cason Brown, Luke Varela, Jaden Alvear, Colton Ricketts, Brycen Gaydos, Brayden Ricketts, Holton Powell, Tate Davis, and Justin Rodgers are to be commended for the outstanding way they represented Slaton.  We also want to extend a huge thank you to Cody Kinch who does an outstanding job as the instructor of this program.
